Where has all this been hiding?? I’ve looked at the other Block type things for Arduino but this looks most promising.. Are you discussing this on the Arduino forums??
About Bricks: My friend and designer Xiao from Beijing was the originator of “Electronic Bricks” for Arduino a few years ago. Most of his published stuff is in Chinese. We are continuing to work together and some new Bricks will be coming out soon. You can see some of the current ones here: http://arduino-info.wikispaces.com/BrickStarterSet
SeeedStudio sold Xiao’s bricks and now has their own version called “Grove”. And as you know, Tinker. It has a version, though more expensive. Also there are MANY “brick-like” small boards like these: http://arduino-direct.com/sunshop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=202
which are too good and too low-cost to ignore.
Hi, I have Arduino IDE Installed on Windows 7. Ihave down loaded ArduBlock but cannot get it installed
Can you advise me what software links I require to download to so that I can link to Microsoft word or
the basis of Arduino. I have been to computer specialist and they cannot help me.
Please can you help me, Thanks

David, I’m just seeing this first-pass.

Xiao also originated the much-copied “Sensor Shield” which you can see here:

All this fits with the “Plug and Play” visible environment. If you’re interested I’d be happy to send you a Brick Starter Set to test with.
I’ll download your current version and try to get time to really try it soon….
Let me know how we might help….

Hi Chris,
Good to hear from you. What directory did you place the ArduBlock’s jar file?
